LFX Lighting Effects for any Gauge

These modules bring realistic lighting effects to bring you layout to life!

 The LFX lighting controllers simulate a range of lighting effects which help to bring your layout to life!

They are really easy to connect and use and the LEDs for the effects are included.

• Easy screw terminals for all connections

• Connect LEDs directly - no resistor is needed

• Power by 9v battery, 9-16v DC or DCC   (LFX6 is DCC only)

• Can be given a DCC accessory address to switch effect on/off. With One Touch DCC it sets up in seconds

LFX1 - Level Crossing Barrier Lights Controller

 

(Photo shows the module in use with LEDs supplied fitted to a Peco model level crossing - model kit parts are not included.)

The LFX1 controls the Amber, then flashing alternate Red lights on a level crossing barrier. The modules comes with 1 amber and 2 red LED's but you can connect up to 4 Amber and 8 Red (12 LED's) in to one LFX. For more LEDs see LED1 (Click Here)

• LED's are Subminiature 3.5mm x 2.5mm x 2mm high (+ lens)

• 1.4mm high x 1.8mm diameter integral domed lens

• 25mm long sturdy wires for easy connection 

• Ideal for fitting in homemade models or into kits such as Peco NB51 (N Gauge) or LK51 (OO/HO).

• Pack contains 1 Amber and 2 Red LED's, LFX Module and Instructions

LFX1S - Level Crossing Barrier Lights & Sound Controller

The LFX1S controls the Amber, then flashing alternate Red lights on a level crossing barrier plus a realistic warning warble which sounds automatically as the light starts. LFX2 - Home & Shop Lighting Controller

The LFX2 module randomly switches up to 4 sets of 4 LED lights for house rooms, shops, stations, pubs etc. Each random on/off time is between 33 and 66 seconds and all four outputs are random. 

The LFX2 module comes with 1 White, 1 Violet, 1 Orange and 1 Yellow 5mm LED's but you can connect up to 16 LED's in to one LFX. For other LEDs see LED2 and LED10 (Click Here)

LFX3 - Traffic Light Controller

The LFX3 controls one set of LED based traffic lights in a continuous UK sequence of Red, Red Amber, Green, Amber, Red and repeat. 

The module comes complete with 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 green LED plus full instructions. A set of 9 LEDs for an extra 3 sets of traffic lights is available as LED3 (Click Here) and also a Traffic Light kit is available which contains 2 model kits of traffic lights including post, traffic light head, wire and LEDs for OO/HO gauge as part number TL1 (see below - Please note that unlike most of our products the traffic light kits TL1 need soldering and glueing)

The LFX3 will also work with some other 3rd party traffic light kits which have LED's wired to a common negative.

If you use a second LFX3 and power both on a DCC circuit then the two modules will control 2 sets of opposing traffic lights, setting on set to Go when the other is at Stop etc completely automatically.

TL1 - Traffic Light Kit OO/HO Gauger (Twin Pack) - Optional Extra

• Two model traffic light kits in OO/HO gauge, ideal for use with LFX3

• This kit required gluing and soldering

• Pack contains 2 x red LEDs, 2 x yellow LEDs, 2 green LEDs, 6 x resistors, 2 aluminium traffic light posts, 2 x Traffic light signal heads (2 fronts, 2 backs), connecting wire and Instructions

TL1  

 

 

LFX4 - BBQ, Log and Camp Fire Effect Controller

  

 (Model kit parts and people are not included.)

The LFX4 controls amber, yellow and red LED's to give a realistic flickering fire effect. The modules comes with 1 amber, 1 yellow and 1 red LED but you can connect up to 3 sets of 3 (9 LED's) in to one LFX. For more LEDs see LED4 (Click Here)

Outside fires can be modelled using cotton wool, matchsticks etc (model shown is the top from a pencil rubber casing and some cotton wool!) or projected inside rooms of model buildings to simulate the flame effect.

LFX5 - Welding Effect Controller

The LFX5 controls ultra bright LED's to simulate an 'arc' welding effect with arc flashes and the hot metal glowing and cooling down lighting effect. Especially effective when projected on the inside walls of a model building which can be seen through windows and doors. The module comes with 1 Hi-intensity Red and 1 Hi-intensity Cool White LED but you can connect up to 3 sets of 2 (6 LED's) in to one LFXA set of LEDs to add extra welding effects onto your layout is also available as LED5 (Click Here)

LFX6 - DCC Quad LED Lighting Controller

The LFX6 allows individual control of up to 4 sets of LED lights for house rooms, shops, stations, pubs etc and each set of LEDs can have separate DCC addresses. 1 red, 1 green, 1 orange and 1 yellow LED's are included with the LFX. For other LEDs see LED2 and LED10 (Click Here)

Please note that this LFX is suitable for DCC layouts only as it is controlled by DCC accessory addresses.

LFX7 - Flashing Light Effects Controller

The LFX7 simulates four flashing effects used on a layout. Examples include belisha beacons, emergency services, camera flashes, lightning, sparks, arcing etc. The module comes with 1 Blue, 1 Amber, 1 sub mini Cool White and 1 5mm Cool White LED's, but you can connect up to 4 sets of 4 (16 LED's) in to one LFX.
